Start your spooky adventure with trick-or-treating along the Strand and Postoffice Street. Over 25,000 pieces of candy will be handed out, ensuring plenty of treats for kids. For even more candy and creativity, head to Saengerfest Park for the Galveston Golf Cart Society’s Trunk or Treat. More than 35 decorated golf carts will be lined up, handing out treats and raising funds for local charities, including Shriners Children’s Hospital. It’s a fantastic way to be part of the community while enjoying the festive atmosphere.
For adults looking to elevate their Halloween experience, the Witches & Warlocks Paired Dinner is a can’t-miss event. With only 20 seats available, this exclusive dinner features a four-course meal paired with wine and a costume contest for the best-dressed guests. After the meal, attendees can stroll around the venue for photo opportunities.
The highlight of the evening, the Mystical Parade of Boo, will take over the streets of Galveston as a dazzling array of floats, lights, and costumed participants march through Historic Downtown Galveston. Featuring the vibrant krewes we know and love, the parade will be a captivating display of artistic talent and community collaboration. Don’t miss out on the excitement as the parade lights up the night with music, beads, and plenty of Halloween fun!

The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) Council #151 will be hosting a Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Fall Fiesta on Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM near the Old County Courthouse at 722 21st Street. This family-friendly event is a celebration of life and death and will feature traditional dishes, the creation of altars to remember the dead.

Halloween Spooktacular will have decorated candy stations for trick-or-treating around the Museum grounds. In addition, there will be a scavenger hunt, spooky stories in the gazebo, fall crafts, outdoor games, ghost hunt in the garden, a walking costume parade, and special photo spaces.
