One of the best local breweries in the area, Galveston Island Brewing is a must for beer lovers. Their unique flavors, including Tiki Wheat, perfectly complements the Galveston experience and is best paired with a night out listening to live music or taking in the sunset.

You will be hard-pressed to find a brewery that has a better view of the Gulf than Beerfoot Brewery. What makes this local brew house unique, though, is its commitment to homebrewers. Not only do they sell their own beers, but they allow others to use their high-quality equipment to produce brews as well.

The Naked Iguana Brewery is an independent and locally owned craft brewery located on the historic Strand on Galveston Island. They hand craft the many varieties of beer and seltzers in house and serve them with smiles in their uniquely stylish taproom with a cool, downtown vibe. They also serve wine, canned cocktails, frozen drinks and a variety of non-alcoholic beverages for the non-beer drinkers.

Devil and the Deep Brewery is located on Galveston Island, a barrier island on the coast of Texas an hour from Houston. The brewery poured their first draft beer in February of 2018 and have built a menu inspired by Belgian and American craft beer styles.
For visitors who are fond of a smooth spirit, checking out the Texas Tail Distillery is a must. Located near the water, this distillery is a bit different from the local breweries, producing well-known spirits such as Texas Tail Vodka and Coastline Whiskey.
