The Holiday Tree Decorating Contest is designed to bring extra holiday cheer into businesses in Historic Downtown Galveston. This contest will give visitors the unique holiday experience of exploring their favorite Downtown Galveston shops and admiring your creatively decorated trees.
Each participant will receive a tree (if requested below) + $200 for decorations, sponsored by the Galveston Park Board of Trustees. Business owners are encouraged to position the tree in the front window so that the public can see the tree and vote on their favorite - even outside of business hours (keeping the tree lit).
The public will vote on their favorite tree here on VisitGalveston.com through Sunday, Jan 2.
Three (3) businesses that obtain the most votes during the contest will receive the marketing package outlined below:
