Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides

Experience an Island Carriage Victorian Excursion in the heart of Historic Downtown Galveston and beyond. Established in 1996, Island Carriages is located at 2528 Postoffice Street in Galveston, TX.

A horse-drawn carriage can transport you along tree-lined streets, giving you a unique perspective on our history. Allusions to Galveston's "Gilded Age" can be seen in the form of towering mansions, shadowed silhouettes of ornate carvings, splashes of stained glass, large inviting porches, and a smidgeon of wrought iron fencing.

Island Carriages also offers services for weddings, anniversaries, corporate parties, and other special occasions.
