Grab a chair and umbrella rental, available on a first-come, first-served basis—just take a seat, and John’s Beach Service will handle the rest. Stewart Beach also features restrooms, showers, and changing rooms for convenience, along with paved walkways and other accessibility-friendly features to ensure everyone can enjoy the shore.

Stewart Beach: The Ultimate Family-Friendly Destination

Stewart Beach is the perfect spot for a fun and safe family beach day. Conveniently located where Broadway meets the Seawall, this beach offers a wide range of amenities, including showers, restrooms, and changing rooms for a hassle-free experience.

Lifeguards are always on duty, ensuring a safe environment for kids to splash in the gentle waves. When it's time for a break from the water, families can enjoy games like volleyball, cornhole, and giant Jenga, along with easy access to concessions for snacks and drinks.

With its welcoming atmosphere and accessibility-friendly features, Stewart Beach makes it easy for everyone to enjoy a relaxing, fun-filled day by the Gulf.

Memorial Day & Independence Day: 8AM – 7PM

Monday – Friday: Closed
Saturday – Sunday: 9AM –7PM
Labor Day: 8AM–7PM

Hours are subject to change without advance notice. Exceptions to standard dates and times can be made on a case-by-case basis for special events wishing to rent the pavilion or park grounds for a fee.

Daily Vehicle Parking: $15 (One-time entry)

$50 Seasonal Beach Park Pass (window decal) for entry to the following beach parks for the entire season (March to October): East Beach, Stewart Beach, Dellanara RV Park, and West End Pocket Parks.

$95 for an Ultimate Pass (window decal) for an entire year of seawall parking plus entry to the beach parks for the entire season

*Please note that restrooms close 30 minutes after gate closing.

Beach Rules

  • One-time entry per vehicle with each paid entry
  • Do not disturb wildlife, birds, turtle nests, or the designated conservation area
  • Pets on leashes are permitted but please clean up after them
  • Tents and tarps are permitted in designated areas
  • Camping is not allowed between 12 am–5 am
  • Glass is prohibited
  • Open fires are prohibited except in BBQ pits
  • Please stay off the dunes
  • 4-wheelers, ATVs, and dirt bikes are prohibited

Special Use Area may only be accessed by vehicles with:

  • Disabled Veteran License Plates
  • License Plates with the wheelchair disability icon
  • Valid non-expired handicap placard properly displayed on rear-view mirror
  • Passengers carrying a valid non-expired fishing license and fishing gear
  • Hard-bottomed nonmotorized personal watercraft (surfboard, paddleboard, kayak)
