Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network presents a Dolphin Conservation Workshop
Is your kid a lover of all things whales and dolphins? Looking for an educational, interactive weekend activity that supports conservation? Look no further! Texas Marine Mammal Stranding Network (TMMSN) is now offering Dolphin Conservation Workshops on select dates at our Rehabilitation and Research Center in Galveston, TX! These workshops are only offered on selected dates each year and advanced paid registration is required to attend.
Levels for each date:
Grades K-5 (9:00 -11:30 AM)
Grades 6-12 (12:30-3:00 PM)
Workshop Length: 2.5 hours
Workshop Cost: $35/participant; $10/adult chaperone
Workshop Includes:
- Presentation on marine mammals and TMMSN
- Guided tour of TMMSN Rehabilitation & Research Center
- Mock Dolphin Rescue Activity, + 2 additional presentations based on age group.*All minors must be accompanied by adult supervision.
