Spend an evening surrounded by local art during ArtWalk in Galveston, a free, self-guided event held throughout Historic Downtown Galveston.

Organized by the Galveston Arts Center, Galveston ArtWalk brings together galleries, artist studios, museums, nonprofits and local businesses for an evening celebrating visual art and the Island’s creative community. Participating locations open their doors for visitors to view new exhibitions, meet artists and make their way through downtown at their own pace.

ArtWalk is held on the second Saturday of each month from 6–9PM, with occasional schedule changes for major events such as Mardi Gras. Admission is free.

Where Is ArtWalk in Galveston?

ArtWalk stretches across Historic Downtown Galveston, with many participating galleries and businesses located along The Strand, Postoffice Street, Market Street and surrounding downtown blocks. Visitors can create their own route and move between participating locations throughout the evening.
