Lights Out! Ghost Stories & Blacklight Puzzle Hunt at the Galveston County Museum
Experience a different side of Galveston's haunted history during Lights Out! Ghost Stories & Blacklight Puzzle Hunt at the Galveston County Museum. Taking place October 27–30, 2026, this special Halloween experience combines ghostly storytelling with an interactive mystery inside the darkened museum.
Your adventure begins with a flashlight-guided ghost tour led by Spooky Gin of Spooky Galveston. As you make your way through the museum's exhibits, hear chilling stories and eerie legends connected to Galveston's past. Learn about mysterious encounters, devastating storms, deadly epidemics, and the people and events that shaped the island's history.
After the ghost tour, the mystery continues with a blacklight puzzle hunt. Venture back through the museum to search for hidden clues and collect puzzle pieces scattered throughout the exhibits. Put the pieces together to reveal a mysterious photograph and complete the challenge.
Designed for both adults and children, this Halloween experience offers a unique way to discover Galveston's history without jump scares or traditional haunted house attractions.
Lights Out! takes place October 27–30, 2026, at 9 AM each day at the Galveston County Museum. Tickets are $25 for adults and $13 for children. The event is presented by Spooky Galveston and the Galveston County Museum.
