Mardi Gras Galveston Returns in 2023, Headliners Announced

Mardi Gras returns to the Historic Galveston Strand District in 2023 for the 112th annual celebration!

The third-largest Mardi Gras celebration in the country is back on Galveston Island from February 10-21, 2023!

Mardi Gras! Galveston, the third largest Mardi Gras celebration in the United States, is expected to draw more than 350,000 attendees for two weekends of live concerts, parades, balcony parties, elegant balls and new festive additions.

Mardi Gras Headliners Announced

Tickets are now on sale for general weekend admission and balcony access. Musical headliners have also been finalized for the festival’s concert lineup. These include Chris Janson, Ghostland Observatory, and Secretto (details below).

When: Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 6:00PM

About: Ghostland Observatory’s new record “Vultures” stems from a sonic decoding of deep space radio frequencies that have been pinging off the duo’s cerebral cortex receivers for over the past year.

When: Friday, February 17 at 10:30PM

About: Known internationally for his debut hit single "Buy Me a Boat," Chris Janson is a “live legacy in the making” (Rolling Stone). Breakout country star Janson is a platinum-selling recording artist, high-octane entertainer, multi-instrumentalist, award-winning singer/songwriter and Grand Ole Opry member.
