Taste the Best of Galveston Island Cuisine at Epicurean Evening April 16
GALVESTON ISLAND, TEXAS (April 7, 2026) – Galveston’s Epicurean Evening is back and bigger than ever this year. Those who crave Galveston’s Gulf Coast cuisine and cocktails, should attend the Texas Restaurant Association Galveston Chapter’s (GTRA) A Taste of the Gulf April 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Moody Gardens Convention Center. More than 35 restaurants will participate in the tasting event, including Rudy & Pacos, Blvd. Seafood, Yaga’s Cafe and The San Luis Resort.
Guests will enjoy live music, special guest emcee, silent auction and the opportunity to sample a wide variety of offerings from across the region. While enjoying bites and sips, attendees can vote for their favorite cuisines all while supporting Galveston’s future workforce.
“Proceeds from the event will directly benefit workforce development of our local hospitality and culinary industries through scholarship opportunities for students at the high school and college levels,” GTRA Chairman Jan Collier said. “Epicurean Evening is a great way to support local restaurants and the industry’s future leaders.”
