The Empty Bowl Event at The Artisan
The Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Galveston County creates four hundred, hand crafted ceramic bowls each year to raise funds to support the work of The Jesse Tree.
Fifteen of Galvestons finest restaurants prepare delicious soups to serve. Participants select a bowl (to keep!) and spend the evening sipping soups and wine; enjoying breads and dessert and bidding on works of art at the Silent Auction.
Hector Bizio, pianist and Renee Hanley, violinist add elegant strains of music to a fun, delicious and beautiful evening. This is the thirtieth year of this event.
