Galveston Island Juneteenth Music Festival & Fireworks
Celebrate Juneteenth on Galveston Island, the birthplace of Juneteenth, during the Juneteenth Music Festival & Fireworks at Menard Park on Friday, June 19, 2026.
This day-long cultural celebration will feature live music, community tributes, youth recognition, cultural activities, and fireworks along the Gulf. Guests can enjoy performances spanning gospel, blues, jazz, zydeco, soul, and Tejano influences while honoring the history and legacy of Juneteenth in the place where freedom was first announced in Texas.
