Guided Craft: Print Making with Lauren Christlieb!
Lauren Christlieb is a printmaker, educator, and the founder of Red Bird Press, a community print shop dedicated to making printmaking accessible through classes, collaboration, and shared studio space. Her artistic practice explores family relationships, memory, and inheritance through the recreation of kept objects, old handwriting, and found imagery. By reworking these materials through printmaking processes, she investigates the stories embedded in everyday objects and the ways they carry history across generations.
About the club: it's a cozy little monthly crafting night in the GAC classroom with friends! We will have a guided craft you may participate in, or you may bring your own creative project you are working on and have full use of the GAC classroom space, supplies, and machinery. With the added bonus of being creatively productive with friends!
Attendees are welcome bring and enjoy their own snacks and adult beverages responsibly. GAC cannot be held liable for the monitoring or consumption of these beverages. We reserve the right to ask students to leave at any time if their behavior is no longer respectful.
Keep it classy and crafty, but never trashy!
