The Galveston Historical Foundation opens the doors to Galveston’s architectural history through public tours of privately owned homes during its annual Galveston Historic Homes Tour.

The Galveston Historic Homes Tour is held from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2024.
Tickets are valid for both weekends. You are not able to view a house again after touring it. Tickets are not sold for individual homes.
Parking is available near each tour home on a first-come, first-serve basis. No shuttle service is offered.
Please wear soft-soled shoes to minimize harm to floors. Hats, umbrellas, and sunscreen are highly suggested.
In case of inclement weather, the tour may be discontinued temporarily or for the remainder of the day.

This year's Galveston Historic Homes Tour will once again partner with Outdoor Painters Society's Plein Air Southwest for their annual member's competition, show, and sale featuring over 40 juried artists. These artists will record history across the island through paintings created during the tour. A public art sale will open at the 1880 Garten Verein, 2704 Avenue O, on Saturday, May 11, 2024. Proceeds from the sale of artwork benefit Galveston Historical Foundation.
Held in the gorgeous 1880 Garten Verein, this festive brunch features individual seating for you and your group, a special gift for mothers, live music, and more. Tickets are available for brunch only or with a Homes Tour ticket.
