La Izquierda Fest (Izzy Fest) is back for its fifth year, bringing together live music, surf, art, and community to the heart of Galveston Island. Set against the backdrop of the Gulf, the festival kicks off Friday afternoon and carries the vibe through Saturday night. From the soulful sway of live performances to the sun-soaked surf contest at 21st & Seawall, Izzy Fest is a tribute to what makes the Texas coast so special—its creativity, its energy, and its deep love for the water.

What are the festival hours?

The festival kicks off Friday, May 1 at 2:00 PM and continues through Saturday night, May 2 at 11:00 PM.

Is there parking available?

Yes. Paid parking is available along the Seawall and in the Beach Central parking garage adjacent to the event grounds.

Are children allowed?

Yes! Izzy Fest is family-friendly, with beach activities and surf contests open to all ages.

What does VIP include?

VIP tickets include premium stage views, access to a private lounge area, and concierge service. Cabana packages offer an elevated experience for groups.

Yes. Izzy Fest will go on rain or shine, so bring weather-appropriate gear if needed.

Are pets allowed?

We love furry friends, but for safety reasons, pets are not allowed at the festival unless they are certified service animals.
