Inspired by the golden days of seaside amusement, when flappers and gents packed their trunks for a season on the shore, this weekend is chock-full of vintage charm. With live music, classic cars, retro vendors, and the world-famous Bathing Beauties Contest, Galveston is rolling out the red carpet for a summertime spectacle straight from the heyday of boardwalk revelry.
