ABBAMANIA live at The Grand 1894 Opera House
Step back into the disco era with ABBAMANIA, a live tribute concert celebrating the unforgettable music of ABBA at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston.
Featuring nine Canadian musicians and singers, ABBAMANIA recreates the energy and sound of an ABBA concert with a live band, backup singers, choreography, costume changes and full-scale musical arrangements. The show brings 21 of the group’s most beloved songs to the stage, giving longtime fans and new listeners a chance to experience ABBA’s music in a lively concert setting.
Sing along to favorites including “Dancing Queen,” “Waterloo,” “Take a Chance on Me,” “Money, Money, Money,” “Chiquitita,” “Voulez-Vous” and “The Winner Takes It All.” The production focuses on the vocals, musicianship and arrangements that helped make ABBA one of the most recognizable pop groups in music history.
ABBAMANIA has been entertaining audiences since 1999 and is billed as the world’s longest-running ABBA tribute concert. Following milestones that included the 50th anniversary of ABBA’s Eurovision victory and ABBAMANIA’s 25th anniversary in 2024, the music continues to bring generations of fans together.
The performance takes place at The Grand 1894 Opera House, Galveston’s historic performing arts venue in downtown Galveston. Visitors can make an evening of it by enjoying the island before settling in for a night filled with familiar songs and disco-era nostalgia.
