Tiki Man Music Company brings island-inspired instruments and a welcoming approach to music to Galveston’s Historic Strand.

Owner Josh grew up on Galveston Island and has spent about 25 years as a drummer, songwriter, producer, and performing musician. After years of touring and working in music retail, he returned home to create a shop centered on making music approachable, social, and fun for musicians and curious beginners.

Tiki Man Music Company reflects Josh’s connection to Galveston and its music community. The shop combines his roughly 15 years of music retail experience with an instrument selection influenced by tropical sounds and musical traditions from around the world.
