Fat Cat Bakery brings a taste of Baja California to Galveston with its famous oversized cinnamon rolls, fresh-baked kolaches, gourmet ice cream sandwiches, and other sweet treats. Located along the Seawall, Fat Cat is the creation of Robert and Laura, who built a loyal following with their popular Fat Cat Pancake House in Rosarito, Mexico before bringing their signature recipes and hospitality to Texas.

For more than a decade, guests have traveled for Fat Cat's legendary cinnamon rolls, crafted from recipes developed by Laura and inspired by her family's culinary traditions from Tampico, Mexico. Today, visitors can enjoy classic, pecan, blueberry, and specialty cinnamon rolls, along with savory Texas-style kolaches, gourmet cookies, coffee, and Blue Bell ice cream treats.
