Earline's Downtown Dive
Earline's Downtown Dive
Formerly The Proletariat, this downtown gathering place combines a bar, art gallery, and antique store under one roof.
Located in Historic Downtown Galveston, Earline's Downtown Dive brings new energy to a space long known within the island's arts and music community. Guests can enjoy cocktails, cold beer, late-night food, and live entertainment while surrounded by vintage furnishings, artwork, and collectibles that help define the venue's distinctive atmosphere.
Named after owner Brad Stringer's great-grandmother, Earline's builds on the location's creative legacy with a concept that blends hospitality and retail. Nearly everything throughout the space is available for purchase, from furniture and artwork to antiques and decorative pieces. The inventory changes regularly, making each visit a little different from the last.
