Earline's Downtown Dive
Earline's Downtown Dive
Formerly the The Proletariat, Earline's Downtown Dive combines the atmosphere of a neighborhood watering hole with the character of an eclectic gallery and antique-filled lounge. Located in Historic Downtown Galveston, guests can enjoy cocktails, cold beer, and a rotating selection of late-night food while gathering with friends, listening to live music, or taking in the creative surroundings.
The business takes its name from owner Brad Stringer's great-grandmother, Earline, whose East Texas liquor store inspired the concept. The downtown location continues a tradition of creative use for the historic building while adding a distinctive social venue to Galveston's nightlife scene.
