Stuttgarden Tavern on The Strand is a popular Galveston beer garden with a full bar, 40 beers on tap and serves bratwurst and other traditional German dishes. Stuttgarden is the perfect venue for large events and parties. The rooftop bar and patio offers great views of cruise ships coming and going.

What could be better than a beachfront bar with ocean views, and great eats? Head to Long Board Pool Bar for an outpost that embodies all of Galveston's famous island fun. The beer is cold and the bartenders are ready to mix up anything to soothe your palette. Try the pizza too for a great post-beach meal.

Here at Tiki Bar, with the 50+ beers, frozen margaritas and signature piña coladas, it’s easy to let the time tiki away. Drunken Monkeyz offers a full bar with specialty cocktails and beers, including ones from the nearby Galveston Island Brewing on Stewart Road. Golden Tee Live, darts and an Internet Jukebox await patrons' entertainment needs. The owner jokingly mentioned the bar's fun name was inspired by “our own habits.”
Murphy’s is Galveston’s largest Irish pub. The old-school brick and wood-lined hangout offers signature pizzas, a large draft selection and two pool tables.
