Summer Camp at The Bryan Museum
Summer at The Bryan means pirate maps, hermit crab races, attic adventures, and a behind-the-scenes look at how museums bring history to life.
This three-day summer camp invites young explorers ages 8–12 to step inside the world of curators, artists, and storytellers as they build their own museum exhibit using art, artifacts, and imagination. From plein-air art projects to hidden corners of the historic Galveston Orphans Home, every day is packed with hands-on activities, creative challenges, and plenty of Texas-sized fun.
Designed for curious kids who love history, art, adventure—or all three—Summer Camp at The Bryan turns the museum into a place to explore, create, and discover. Parents, fair warning: your camper may leave talking about artifacts, pirate treasure, and museum secrets all summer long!
