Da Vinci Day at Marmo Plaza
Bring your curiosity to Downtown Galveston for Da Vinci Day, a free family event filled with hands-on activities inspired by the creativity of Leonardo da Vinci. This annual fall event takes place Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at a new location, Marmo Plaza at 2121 Market St.
Designed for curious kids and families, Da Vinci Day encourages visitors to imagine, build, experiment and create together. Throughout the event, families can take part in interactive maker stations, inventor-inspired challenges, engineering experiments and creative crafts. Open-ended activities give children of different ages opportunities to put their ideas to the test while learning through hands-on play.
Special guests or demonstrations may also be part of the day's activities. Outdoor experiences are planned when weather permits.
Inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's work as an artist, inventor and maker, Da Vinci Day combines science, technology, engineering and creativity in an approachable experience for the whole family.
Admission to Da Vinci Day is free. This year's event will be held at Marmo Plaza rather than its previous museum location. Visitors should check the event organizer's official website or event page before attending for the latest schedule, activity details and weather-related updates.
