The place of the deadliest storm in U.S. history, Galveston Island is a popular destination for haunted exploration. From a 111-year-old haunted hotel to Galveston’s storied harbor, cemeteries and Victorian mansions, there are numerous ghostly experiences to be explored throughout October.

For those who love the ocean, consider signing up for a 90-minute ghostly cruise through Galveston’s historic waters on the SEAGULL II. As the sun slowly sets and the moon slowly rises in the sky, you’ll be treated to spooktacular stories of murder, pirates, hauntings, and horrors that are sure to send shivers down your spine. The tour departs from the Texas Seaport Museum every Saturday in October at 5.30 pm. Bring your own bottle.
