Parade starts: 12:00 NOON
You are invited to participate in our vibrant Día de los Muertos Parade as we honor and celebrate the memories of our loved ones.
Be part of the parade! We welcome community members, families, dancers, musicians, decorated floats, and creative costumes inspired by Día de los Muertos traditions.
Dress up!
Come wearing traditional attire, colorful costumes, or face paint inspired by calaveras (sugar skulls).

Parade Route
Line-up will begin at 10:00-10:30 am – along Galveston’s City Hall. Specific line-up details and maps will
be sent the week of the event. The parade will commence at 12:00 pm.
• Vehicles may be lit using lights using battery packs.
• Walkers are welcome and can be in creative costumes; make-up or masks but this is not a requirement
• We encourage the use of Dia de los Muertos decorations, with colors of yellow (Amarillo), orange (Naranja), black (negro) and the use of marigold flowers but not required.

PARADE ROUTE: Starts at Galveston City Hall (26th Street/Sealy Ave.); left on 25th Street; right Strand Street; right on 21st Street; Ends at the Galveston County Court House. Parking for Parade Participants ONLY is provided in a secure area near the Fiesta.
Everyone is invited back to the Old Galveston Court House following the parade where the fun continues!
There will be music, various vendors, dancers, games & drinks.
