Coastal relaxing colors and decor. Unit sleeps 6 with two kings beds and overhead twins (bunks) in the secondary bedroom. Beautiful open kitchen with breakfast bar and all of the amenities of home including full size appliances......even a wine rack to store your evening enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked with dinnerware, pots & pans, glasses, coffee maker (both drip and Keurig) and cooking utensils. Towels and sheets are provided by our partner linen service. There may be some variations in furnishings or decor since pictures were taken. The property has wonderful amenities to discover and enjoy while staying at Salty Mermaid. Three pools (one of which is heated), a hot tub, poolside grills, picnic tables, chaise loungers and poolside seating...as well as a volleyball area...all in a relaxing tropical setting. Additional outdoor activities include ping-pong and bean bag toss. There's free internet in the lobby and an exercise room overlooking the Gulf. Galveston is an amazing and fun community! There are so many different things to do and see...there truly is something for everyone. Within walking distance of Dancing Mermaid, you'll find go-carts and miniature golf, fishing and dining at Jimmy's on the Pier, batting cages, and our local movie theater. Moody Gardens Golf Course is located nearby, as is the entire Moody Gardens experience and our world-famous waterpark, Schlitterbahn. In town, enjoy one of many fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, visit The Strand and Post Office where quaint shops and art galleries abound. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as an historic setting for live theatre.
