Veterans Day Ceremony
Join the Galveston Naval Museum for a free, public tribute this Veterans Day. It is a profound and patriotic gathering where our community comes together to honor the service, sacrifice, and legacy of our nation's brave veterans.
- Guided Tours
Through out the day we will have docent led guided tours of our historic vessels. Walk the decks where history was made and hear the stories of the sailors who served aboard these legendary ships. It’s a powerful way to connect with our nation's naval heritage. - Ceremony of Remembrance | Ceremony Start Time 11:00 AM
Our formal ceremony commences at 11 am located at our compass rose with a poignant performance by the Texas A&M University Choir. This moving program will feature guest speakers, a traditional wreath-laying, and a moment of silence to honor our fallen heroes. We extend a special recognition to all veterans in attendance. - Tidal Taps Drink Cart
Following the ceremony, we invite the community to stay, reflect, and connect. The Tidal Taps Drink Cart will be open, offering refreshing non-alcoholic drinks. This is a time to share stories, thank a veteran, and enjoy the company of fellow servicemen.

We're building a community tribute to our heroes, and we want your Veteran to be a part of it. For a $25 donation, you can ensure your favorite Veteran's name is featured on our digital Veteran Honor Roll. Let's fill this roll with the names of those who served with courage, our team will be will be reading the 2025 honor roll list at our veterans day ceremony.
