Texian Navy Day

Come celebrate the history and legacy of the Navy and Marine Corps of the Republic of Texas right in the heart of the Texas Navy story, at Pier 21 in Galveston. Boat parade, presentations, Admirals commissioning, educational displays, vendors, live music and top-tier barbecue dinner!

Texian Navy Day Schedule:

10 AM - Texian Navy Day Ceremony: A commemoration ceremony honoring the Texas Navy from 1835 to the present day, including a commissioning ceremony.
11:30 AM - 2:30 PM - Texian Navy Day Boat Parade: A parade celebrating coastal protection featuring decorated industry, military, historic, and recreational boats.
2 military flyovers between - 12:15-12:45 PM and 1:15-1:45 PM
Noon - 5:00 PM - Texas History Exhibit and Static Displays: Explore the intertwined history of Galveston and the Texas Navy through unique educational exhibits, interactive displays, and boat showcases at Pier 21.
4 PM - 8 PM Texian Navy Day BBQ Dinner: Enjoy a traditional BBQ dinner prepared by the Lighthouse Charity Team
