Mystical Parade of Boo
When night falls on Galveston’s Historic Strand District, something a little... otherworldly stirs. Lanterns flicker, music floats on the breeze, and shadows dance along the cobblestone streets. It can only mean one thing: the Mystical Parade of Boo is back for its second year.
On this haunted island night, more than 30 groups—ghostly marchers, high-spirited bands, and costumed characters of every kind—will make their way through the heart of downtown in a spectacle of sound, light, and Halloween magic. You’ll spot the Ball High Color Guard, the Sea Aggie Band, the U.S. Navy, and a cast of costumed revelers ready to bring thrills (and candy) to all who dare to watch.Wear your costume. Catch beads and treats. Or simply come for the enchantment of it all. This free, family-friendly Halloween parade invites you to join the living and the legendary in a celebration that’s equal parts spooky and spectacular.
On Galveston Island, Halloween has a heartbeat—and it marches down the Strand. 🎃
