LULAC Council 151’s 5th Annual Dia de Los Muertos Fiesta
Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) is an ancient Mexican holiday that reunites the living and dead. Families create ofrendas (Offerings) to honor deceased family members. These altars are decorated with flowers, photos of the departed, and the favorite foods and drinks of the one being honored. Day of the Dead celebrates death and life, where mourning is exchanged for celebration.
Join us for a day full of great live music by the Art Tigerina Band, Art Lopez & The Mambo Jazz Kings, Ronnie Dezz, El Castillo07, plus plenty of delicious food and arts/crafts vendors, ballet folklorico dancers, traditional Azteca dancers, an altar and offerings, and much more.
Admission is free and net proceeds go towards LULAC Council 151’s educational projects. .
