His journey leads him to the bustling city of Barcelona, where he encounters the lively Kitri, a young woman in love with the barber, Basilio. Don Quixote mistakes Kitri for his Dulcinea, leading to a series of mistaken identities, humorous misunderstandings, and romantic entanglements. The ballet is a vibrant celebration of love, dreams, and the power of imagination, filled with dazzling virtuoso dancing and charming characters.
