Get ready to fla-mingle 🦩🦩🦩 in style! The Galveston Golf Cart Society (GGCS) is kicking off Flamingo Fest season with flair at this year’s Flamingo Derby Hat-Making Party, happening Wednesday, April 29, from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at The Naked Iguana, 1828 Strand Street, Galveston, TX.
More than just a DIY craft night, this fun-filled fundraiser sets the stage for the annual Galveston Flamingo Parade, being held May 2nd. Guests are invited to bring a hat or headband, their derby spirit, and creativity for an evening of hat decorating, delicious lite bites, raffles, photo ops, and community connection—all to benefit the Jesse Salinas Scholarship Fund, which supports vocational students in Galveston.
