2026 GEDP Annual Meeting and Casino Night

The Galveston Economic Development Partnership (GEDP) will host its 2026 Annual Meeting & Casino Night on Thursday, February 19, at The Grand 1894 Opera House. The event combines GEDP's annual member meeting with a public fundraiser supporting economic development initiatives on Galveston Island.

The evening begins at 4:30 p.m. with a 30-minute annual meeting exclusively for GEDP members, followed by an open social and fundraising portion for all ticketed guests beginning at 5 p.m. The event runs until 8:30 p.m.

Guests will enjoy casino-style table games, live music, food, and drinks throughout the evening. Raffle prizes include Astros tickets, a Moody Gardens family trip, a stay at The Tremont House, and more.

General admission tickets are $100 per person and include a casino voucher, two drink tickets, food, live music, and automatic entry into the raffle. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses and organizations looking to support the event.

Proceeds support GEDP's mission to promote economic development, attract new business, and strengthen the local economy on Galveston Island.
