Moody Mansion
Restored in 1895, this Galveston landmark was originally the home of one of the country's wealthiest people in the 1950s, W.L. Moody, Jr. The property is still full of original family memorabilia and is available for rent for private parties and events. There are plenty of rental options available, including the mansion's main floor for evening functions up to 125 guests, the ballroom for approximately 70 guests, or you may host an intimate dinner party in Moody Mansion's theatric dining room. For larger events, Moody Mansion's outdoor space can be rented as well. Bridal and portrait photography sessions are available for a fee through advanced booking.
