Sea Your Meetings Differently

Wake up for a sunrise walk along the beach. Take a socially distanced tour of a historic mansion. Spend the evening tracing the steps of legends and pirates. There are so many ways to discover historic Galveston Island – where it's time to "sea" your next meeting differently.

Located just 50 miles south of Houston, Galveston offers an enticing selection of world-class meeting facilities along 32 miles of sparkling Gulf of Mexico beaches. But that's just the beginning. Here, unique experiences abound in a resort destination that is also home to one of the largest collections of Victorian architecture in the country, unforgettable attractions, the freshest seafood in the state and a fascinating history that has produced more than 100 firsts for Texas.

Offsite Venues with a Story to Tell

For memorable off-site events, Galveston has plenty of unique venues with a story to tell. Host a fabulous reception outdoors at the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier, a modern version of an amusement pier that stood in the same location over the Gulf of Mexico in the early 1900s. Step back in time at a historic mansion or explore history at The Grand 1894 Opera House, the Galveston Historic Seaport and 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA, or The Bryan Museum, housing one of the world's largest collections of historical artifacts relating to the American Southwest. Discover the oasis and wildlife of the Moody Gardens pyramids or the adventure of Schlitterbahn Galveston Island Waterpark – home to the world's tallest water coaster!

Explore Historic Downtown Galveston

Known for its majestic Victorian architecture, Galveston's Historic Downtown Strand Seaport District is a charming destination. Here, you can walk the streets where businessmen once developed this port city into the "Wall Street of the South" while exploring 36 blocks of shopping, dining, arts and entertainment offerings just steps away from Galveston Harbor.

In Galveston, your meeting is just the beginning of the fun. The entire island is your arena to play where you work…even if that means simply taking in the sea breezes and enjoying the fresh air.

Take a look at all the outdoor spaces that only Galveston can offer; they’re bound to inspire and entertain you. We can meet safely. Galveston is here when you’re ready.
