The Galveston Pirate Festival is chartin’ a course for adventure. For three swashbucklin’ days, the island will brim with costumed rogues, live shanties, cannon fire, and treasure-worthy fun for the whole family.

The Galveston Pirate Festival kicks off Saturday at 11 a.m. and continues until 7 p.m. Guided submarine and destroyer tours will be offered from 10 a.m.–noon and again from 2–4 p.m. Keep the festivities going at the afterparty on The Strand from 8 p.m.–2 a.m., with the location to be announced.
On Sunday, September 20, step aboard the historic 1877 Tall Ship ELISSA and enjoy a Historic Harbor Boat Tour beginning at 1 p.m. Guided submarine and destroyer tours will also be available from 10 a.m.–noon and 2–4 p.m. Wrap up Pirate Festival weekend by exploring Galveston’s rich maritime history.
