2026 Back Garden Tour

This is a one-day, rain or shine, self-guided tour of private oases, elegant retreats, inspiring yards and shared garden spaces on Galveston Island. From charming and whimsical to tranquil and sophisticated, these diverse properties showcase islanders’ ability to transform their outdoor areas into sanctuaries!

​Tickets are $20/person and can be purchased online or in-person on the day of the tour.

All online ticket purchasers must exchange their e-tickets for paper tickets at Harris Gardens on the day of the tour. ​

Tour Day Bonus: Join the Turtle Island Restoration Network, the Galveston Bay Foundation, the Galveston Island Tree Conservancy and Surfrider Galveston at Harris Garden! Learn about ocean friendly gardens and make a rain barrel (rain barrel reservation required.)
