The legendary USS Texas, a 110-year-old battleship and national treasure, is in Galveston for a rare and historic restoration.
On August 31, 2022, the ship made her journey from San Jacinto to Galveston Harbor, where she now rests in drydock for extensive repairs. While work continues, visitors can marvel at her massive presence and glimpse history up close.
