The closest international airport to Galveston is William P Hobby Airport (HOU). Located on the southern side of Houston, it’s about 40 miles – and less than an hour if traffic cooperates – from the terminal to the beach. You may also choose to fly to George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH), the largest airport in Houston. It's about 70 miles and 80+ minutes from Galveston.
