A 1900 Storm Survivor, the League-Kempner House sat abandoned for many years in Galveston and ghost stories were told about the spooky old mansion. For this event we will have full access to explore the home, including areas not normally open to the public.

The original Lucas Terrace Apartments were destroyed by the 1900 storm and were rebuilt using the debris from the wreckage. A reporter covering the grand opening in 1908 referred to it as being "built from bricks bathed in blood."
