The race is totally on paved roads with no running on sand/beach.
HALF MARATHON ONE LOOP OF THE COURSE. FULL MARATHON TWO LOOPS.
The charity for this event is Forgotten Pets Advocate pet rescue.

7:15AM for Wheelchairs and Handcycles
7:30AM for Galveston Marathon and 1/2 Marathon
8:00AM for Galveston 5K
The Galveston 5K is limited to 200 runners. Specially designed short sleeve shirts and finishers medals for all runners of the 5k.
