On behalf of the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, we invite you to our Fishing Funds the Cure Tournament, on October 9, in Galveston at Moody Gardens.
This tournament features a full day of inshore fishing for redfish, trout, and flounder. Trophies will be awarded individually to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each species and an overall team “slam champion” (boat with the highest total length combined.
Before the tournament begins, each participant will receive a dry bag full of great tournament swag, including a pair of Salt Life sunglasses. Highlights of this year’s event are the welcome reception and packet pick up at Moody Gardens on Thursday evening and the awards ceremony and barbecue dinner on Friday after the tournament.
All proceeds from this event support critical research needed to find a cure for childhood cancer.
